Rural Gain Grant - expressions of interest wanted
This grant through Lincolnshire County Council is aimed at improving access to local services by supporting the development of businesses or community projects that maintain the economic, social infrastructure and sustainability of rural life.
for example:
1.Revitalise the last shop in the village with improvements to sales/service delivery area, new lighting, refrigeration, layout and shelving.
2. Introduce new services – pay point, dry cleaning, home delivery, diversification, create a shop in the pub.
3. Innovations to sales area – café, Internet, tearooms, local produce counters.
This exciting new scheme is open to rural retailing businesses and community groups for projects which enable people to reach key local services.
Grants are available for between £250 and £10,000 up to a maximum of 50% of the total project costs
