The Lincolnshire Community Foundation will manage the new Grassroots Grants programme for Lincolnshire from 2008 to 2011. It is a scheme sponsored by Government to provide financial support (grants) to small voluntary community groups.

Groups should be not for profit and have been active for more than 12 months, and grants can be for £250 to £5,000 over the lifetime of the scheme. the purpose is to help small voluntary community groups build stronger, more active communities.
